I was very excited to attend a styled photoshoot at Somerley House this year with a large team of incredibly talented creatives. Styled photoshoots are a fantastic way to be creative and a perfect opportunity to create beautiful photographs.
The Grounds;
The grounds of Somerley House are extensive, 7,000 acres to be precise! It has many many beautiful spots to utilise for stunning couple portraits and group photographs. The house has the versilitality to offer indoor and outdoor weddings. If the weather is dry you can have your ceremony in the beautiful grounds outside, making full use of the beautiful landscape and views. Can you imagine marrying your best friend with your loved ones watching in these stunning grounds?! The pictures will be exquisite!
Inside Somerley House;
The inside of the building is breath taking! It is grand and exquisitely decorated! It hosts so much charm and oozes a grandiose feeling. Entering through the large front doors into a charming hallway, this is a lovely spot for photographs, beautiful light pours in from the front doors. Then making your way through the house to the back of the building where the dining room is. Now, this room is nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL for hosting your wedding breakfast. The talented team of suppliers put on the most gorgeous display for the table setting. The flowers and styling was out of this world! The Wedding Breakfast of dreams!
The house boats exquisite decoration whilst also keeping a homely lived in feel. The owners of the Estate Viscount and Vicountess Somerton reside there when weddings are not taking place.
